Welcome to LooksArt, developed and operated by ShenZhen ZhiLin Co., Ltd.("we," "us," or "our").

We built this App to empower your creativity with advanced AI photo generation and a massive library of high-quality templates. To keep our community safe and our platform running smoothly, we have established these Terms of Service (the "Terms").

By downloading, accessing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Your Content

How we handle the photos you bring to the App.

• You Own Your Photos: You retain 100% ownership of any original photo or image you upload (your "User Content").
• Our License to Process: To make the magic happen, you grant us a temporary, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and process your uploaded photos strictly to generate the AI content you request. (As detailed in our Privacy Policy, your face data is deleted shortly after processing).
• Your Responsibility: You promise you have the legal right to upload these photos. You may not upload pictures of others without their explicit consent or copyrighted materials that do not belong to you.

2. AI Outputs

What happens after the AI generates your image.

• You Own the Creations: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the final images and avatars generated by our App ("Generated Content"). You may download, share, and use them.
• The Nature of AI: Artificial Intelligence is experimental. The App is provided "AS IS." The AI may occasionally generate outputs that are distorted, inaccurate, or unintended. We are not liable for any "AI hallucinations."
• Community Showcase: If you choose to publish your Generated Content to a public "Explore" feed within the App, you grant us a perpetual right to display that specific image to promote the App.

3. Safety & Rules

To keep the App Store and our community safe, these are our absolute red lines.

You agree that you will NEVER use our App to upload, generate, or share:

• Adult Content: Anything depicting nudity, explicit sexual acts, or child exploitation.
• Harmful Material: Content promoting self-harm, extreme violence, or illegal acts.
• Hate & Harassment: Images designed to bully, harass, or spread hate speech.
• Deceptive Deepfakes: Unauthorized face-swapping or impersonation of real people with the intent to deceive or defame.
• IP Theft: Content that infringes on the trademarks or copyrights of others.
• Enforcement: We reserve the right to terminate your account instantly, ban your device, and report severe violations to law enforcement without notice.

4. Billing & Subscriptions

Because you are on iOS, Apple handles all payments.

• Subscriptions: Premium templates require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize Apple to charge your App Store account at purchase confirmation.
• Auto-Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the billing period ends.
• Cancellations: We cannot cancel subscriptions for you. You must manage and cancel your subscription directly in your iPhone Settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Deleting the App will not stop the charges.
• Refunds: Because Apple controls the payment gateway, all refund requests must go directly to Apple Customer Support. We cannot issue direct refunds.

5. Third-Party Integrations & Marketing

Our App integrates third-party software development kits (SDKs), such as the Facebook (Meta) SDK, to analyze user engagement and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. Your interaction with these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. You acknowledge that we use these tools to optimize our App’s visibility, and you maintain full control over your advertising tracking preferences via your iOS device's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) settings, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

Respecting the engine that powers your creativity.

• Our Property: The App's code, UI design, template library, logos, and proprietary AI workflows belong entirely to us. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the App.
• No Tampering: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, or use automated scrapers/bots to extract data or templates from our App.
• Copyright Claims (DMCA): If you believe a user has infringed your copyright via our App, please email our Copyright Agent at [Your Support Email] with a formal takedown notice including your contact info and a description of the infringement.

7. Liability & Disclaimers

The legal armor protecting our team and our App.

• No Warranties: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be completely error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly secure.
• Limitation of Liability: Our financial responsibility is strictly limited. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data) arising from your use of the App.
• Indemnification: If your actions (e.g., uploading illegal photos) get us sued, you agree to defend us and cover our legal fees and damages.

8. Legal, Updates & Contact Info

Building a safe and innovative AI platform is an ongoing process. We won't hide our contact info or changes to these rules in fine print.

• Governing Law & Arbitration: These Terms are governed by the laws of the HongKong. Any dispute we cannot resolve informally will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration administered by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), not in court. Class action lawsuits are not permitted. You must be at least 13 years old to use this App.
• Terms Updates: As AI technology evolves, new laws are passed, and we add new features (like new AI engines or video capabilities), these Terms of Service will be updated. If we make material changes that significantly affect your rights or how you can use the App, we will alert you via an in-app pop-up or push notification before the changes take effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will always reflect the latest active version.
